Important Information

ADMISSION

Admission to Broseley Festival is FREE. However we would be grateful for any donations received on the day at our various collection points.

 

TRAVEL OPTIONS

We kindly advise that Broseley residents walk to the festival and allow visitors to use the free designated parking provided for the event at Broseley C of E School and Broseley Library carpark, please follow the parking signs.

 

LOST & FOUND CHILDREN/VULNERABLE ADULTS

Broseley festival committee members and security are on site throughout the event and are easily identifiable. Please report any lost or found children or any adults who appear to need help or support to them immediately.

Any found children should be brought immediately to Broseley festival "Meeting/Lost Children Point" situated at the Festival Stall by the main stage. One of the below committee members will then stay with the child/children whilst security & committee members will be informed. If you are a parent or guardian who has lost a child/children please make your way to the "Meeting /Lost Children Point" and inform a member of Broseley Festival Committee or security member immediately.

SECURITY

Broseley festival use a professional security company throughout the weekend. Marshals will also be present to help with public safety. Please adhere to the instructions of the security, stewards and announcements made on the PA. Broseley Festival committee cannot accept responsibility for injury or damage caused through actions or inactions that are contrary to advice given. Security have the right to escort any person off they site who they feel is behaving in an inappropriate or threatening way. Security is onsite 24 hours during the festival weekend. 

SECURITY SEARCHES

Your safety is our priority at Broseley Festival, and we have put in place all necessary measures to maximise public safety. We ask that you also play a part in keeping Broseley Festival safe and secure, so please take note of the following: 

Festival goers may be subject to a random search of their bags and their person by N&S Security staff. Please do not be offended if you are asked by a member of our security staff to search your bag or person this is to ensure we keep Broseley Festival a safe place and kindly request that you cooperate with any searches. We have worked with West Mercia Police who have informed Broseley Festival Committee of the following: Security are within their rights to ask people at random to conduct searches. If however somebody refuses Security are able to refuse access to the event even though Broseley High Street is a public place as it is licenced to Broseley Festival for that weekend. If a person is found when entering the festival with anything that is prohibited a public arrest can be made and police will be called. 

PROHIBITED ITEMS

Any objects that are seen to be potential weapons will be confiscated as public safety is paramount. We are within our rights to remove anyone from this event if situations arise that are unlawful.

We reserve the right to confiscate any item, which in our reasonable opinion may cause danger or disruption to any other persons at the Event. Without limitation, the following may not be brought onto the festival site: Glass, Fireworks, Flares, Illegal substances, Drugs, Gas canisters, Items which may be regarded as weapons, knives or any type of sharp blade or object, Legal highs (including Nitrous Oxide and associated equipment including balloons), Laser equipment/pens, Megaphones, Pyrotechnics, smoke bombs, Sound systems (including personal speakers), Spray cans.

UNREASONABLE BEHAVIOUR 

Anybody who we feel is behaving in a threatening or inappropriate manner or found in the possession of or distributing any drugs or Illegal substances will be dealt with by our designated security team and the police will be informed.

 

FIRE

In case of a fire please listen to the announcements made on the PA and make your way to the designated exits in a calm and controlled manner. Exits will be clearly marked by stewards. Do not re-enter the festival site to retrieve property. Fire muster points are: Church Street next to Molly's Café, Dark Lane towards the Fair Field and outside The Lion Hotel.

 

 

FIRST AID

Medical staff are on site at the event. If you require medical assistance please go to the designated area at The Victoria Hall or please ask a member of security, a steward or committee member.

 

 

ALCHOLIC BEVERAGES

Alcohol will only be served by licensed premises.

licensed premises that fails to provide us with evidence of a TENs license for the event will be solely responsible. Plastic glasses can only be used for beverages during the festival weekend and anywhere on the festival site.

CHANGES & CANCELLATIONS

The committee reserves the right to change or cancel Broseley Festival at it's discretion without prior notice. The committee reserves the right to change the artists or line-up without prior notice.

DOCUMENTATION

Any documents relating to Broseley Festival (i.e. meeting minutes, insurance certificates, risk assessments, licences etc)  are always available to view upon request. Please inform a committee member if you wish to see any documents.
